Directed the daily operations of the credit and collections department for the Eastern Division consisting of 36 branches located throughout Florida, Delaware and Freeport, Bahamas. Monthly A/R portfolio in excess of $36M. Developed and implemented policies and procedures which resulted in a reduction in DSO over 11 days, 60-90 day past due percentages from 28 to 15 and bad debt expense by over $2M. Reduced headcount from 23 to 19 while also eliminating $96 thousand in casual labor, $26 thousand in overtime and $20 thousand in attorney expense while maintaining consistent sales growth. Implemented a “Customer Satisfaction Program” which allowed better tracking and quicker resolution of customer deductions. Involved in all credit related software enhancements ranging from spreadsheet reports to collection activity logs.
