Jon Hines Credit Manager GCC Ready Mix

      Jon Hines currently serves as the Corporate Manager for GCC's North American Ready Mix operations. Prior to joining GCC in 2007, he was a credit professional for the Oklahoma division of APAC as well as local ready mix supplier Rainbow Concrete Company.

Jon has spent over fifteen years in business credit and has been an active NACM member for a majority of that time. He has chaired or co-chaired industry credit groups in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, represented the Association at numerous speaking engagements, been on NACM Mid-America's board of directors - two of those years as chairman - and participated in a task force that drafted Oklahoma's current mechanics's lien statutes.

Gordon Long, CBA

      Gordon Long, CBA has been the District Credit Manager for HAines, JOnes & CAdbury a division of the HAJOCA Corporation for over five years. Although his title reflects "District" his responsibilities are Global. He was previously the Corporate Credit Manager for National Home Centers, Inc. where he worked for over 18 years. During his tenure there he wrote and enforced their existing credit policy and also created the credit application they have been using for the past ten plus years. Gordon was one of the founding members of the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) of Northwest Arkansas; he is their most recent President and Chairman of the Board. He was also a founding member and past President of the Mid Arkansas Credit Education group. He has served on many NACM boards and committees and has attended a number of the Annual Credit Congress Meetings which he highly recommends to anyone who works in the credit arena. Prior to working in credit Gordon was in sales and carries a full line of sales credentials right up to the level of Sales Manager. He believes this experience mixture and understanding of the sales credit relationship is directly responsible for his great success. He is extremely experienced in contract negotiation as well as all aspects of collections including legal. He is proficient in motivating others, establishing procedures and accountability models. Gordon has been a guest speaker at several colleges and a variety of group meetings. He has written papers on different topics, most notably, "Working with lenders as a source of reference and security". Gordon Long has a proven track record for getting the job done and done right..."Identify the complication quickly and communicate it to resolution" is his motto, setting a standard of excellence is his goal!
